FutureWare Coding Conventions And Nomenclature Standards

A consistent set of adhered to standards is an integral part and requirement of any product development effort, and is crucially important when the work is done by a team, sometimes in disparate locations, or when multiple tool sets are used. This applies not only to coding and nomenclature conventions, but also to the supporting information body of the workproduct, such as documents, schedule outlines, web pages, and thoroughly documented object interfaces.

FutureWare uses the MS Office 97 suite for all of its supporting document needs, which insures that exchanged information is based on a uniform standard that everyone has access to.

We also use the following tools and programs, among others, for information exchange:

We also have a coding and nomenclature convention that is strictly adhered to, regardless of the target database or chosen tool set. This greatly reduces rework that often occurs when more than one person is working on a project, but even more importantly is an immeasurable help when doing maintenance.
