The programs and components of Microsoft Office are a de-facto standard that are
used by literally millions of people and businesses everyday. All of the MS Office
components, such as Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, have a high
degree of integration. But they can also be integrated with other applications,
such as an inventory module or contact management system, using Visual Basic
for Applications. This feature provides for more efficient processes,
tighter integration, easier document management, and enhancing work group collaboration. FutureWare
